A little about me

My approach to therapy is characterised by compassion, authenticity and a person-centred focus that works to collaborate with clients to understand and explore their experiences. I work hard to foster a warm and non-judgemental space where you feel safe and supported to navigate life’s challenges and lean on evidence-based modalities to help you achieve specific therapeutic goals and enact meaningful change in your life.

Together, we’ll craft a tailored toolbox of strategies to help you overcome challenges, build on personal strengths and improve your overall wellbeing. It would be my honour to guide you through this process and witness the positive changes and growth that unfold along the way.

I have worked with a large age range of individuals in both public and private settings, utilising both in-person and telehealth services. I have a Bachelor of Psychological Science (First Class Honours) from the University of Queensland, where I also received the University Medal. I then completed my Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Technology Sydney and have conducted research in areas related to PTSD and substance use.

A bit more about me

What has working in and studying psychology taught you?
Psychology has taught me the importance of self-compassion, self-awareness and the power of the therapist-client relationship.

What is your self-care ritual?
Gym, time in nature, listening to podcasts and spending time with loved ones.

A fun fact about me
I grew up on an island off Auckland called Waiheke! And I have a dog named Bowie (after David Bowie). Can you tell I’m a 70’s/80’s music fan?
