A little about me
I work to make my counselling room a space where you can feel safe and understood. I strongly value authenticity and collaboration, and take a client-centred approach that supports you in navigating your challenges, working towards your goals, and taking the therapeutic journey at your own pace. Using a range of evidence-based interventions, we will work to find strategies that suit your needs, and I will support you in learning the skills to implement these. My main aim is to help you create meaningful change outside the therapy room and address any barriers that may come up along the way.
Having worked across government and private sectors, I have gained experience working across the lifespan and with a range of client presentations. I completed both my Bachelor of Psychological Science and my Master of Psychology (Counselling) at the University of Queensland and am currently undertaking my Master of Professional Psychological Practice (Clinical) at the Australian College of Applied Professions.

A bit more about me
What has working in and studying psychology taught you?
To be kinder to myself, celebrate the wins no matter how big or small and embrace change.
What is your self-care ritual?
My main self-care comes in two forms on either extreme.
Option 1: Going out to explore a new spot to eat with people I love.
Option 2. Curling up on the couch and watching a movie with a cup of tea.
A fun fact about me
I have a dog named Denzel who I tried to train to be a therapy dog, however he failed the training because he wouldn’t stop eating all the treats!
