A little about me

My main aim is to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where you feel empowered to navigate life’s ups and downs. My approach is warm, direct, and sprinkled with humour, but ultimately works to build your self-belief, recognise your strengths, and ensure you stay true to your values.

I help people through life’s many transitions – whether that’s grief, breakups, or challenges in relationships (family, friends, romantic, or work-related). I also specialise in those often-overlooked transitions, like migrating as a skilled professional, sudden career shifts, and unique life changes for the LGBTQ+ and Spanish-speaking communities. And if you’re a high achiever or C-suite executive, I get the unique pressures you face. Running a business while managing a family can feel like juggling tacos and tequila with one hand! I help people through that.

With over 20 years of experience across the public, private, and research sectors across many countries, I bring a global perspective to my practice. Since moving to Australia in 2013 to complete my PhD in performance and psychological transitions in life and work, I’ve continued lecturing and researching in this field. I’m passionate about helping people not just cope, but truly thrive, using evidence-based methods and the latest research to create a personalised, diversity-informed approach. Let’s work together to help you move forward with confidence.

My areas of interest are

I work with

  • C suite individuals, business owners, and managers

A bit more about me
What has working in and studying psychology taught you?
Individuals have incredible potential for transformation, both for themselves and the environments they engage with. By providing the right resources, fostering curiosity, and offering supportive guidance with a great deal of kindness, positive, long-lasting outcomes become not only possible but likely.

What is your self-care ritual?
I enjoy creating abstract paintings, chatting in Spanish with family and friends, cooking and sharing delicious Mexican dishes with my loved ones. I also love dancing to lively, upbeat Latino music—the kind that makes your hips not lie.

A fun fact about me
I love road cycling – full-on Lycra style. Every long ride I swear to my legs “never again,” until coffee and pastries at the end make me forget!
