Energised

What does it mean to be ‘energised’?

To feel energised means to feel invigorated, revitalised, and full of energy. It often means a physical sensation of increased vitality, alertness, and motivation. When we feel energised, we have a greater ability to take on challenges, be productive, and pursue our goals with enthusiasm. It’s an important aspect of physical and mental well being, and helps individuals lead a more fulfilling and productive life.

Feeling energised can be the result of many things, such as getting a good night’s sleep, exercising, eating a healthy diet, or engaging in activities that bring joy and excitement. On the other hand, factors such as stress, lack of sleep, and unhealthy habits can lead to feelings of fatigue and decreased energy levels.

How can we feel more energised?

There are a few ways we can move towards feeling more energised in our daily lives.

Exercise

Regular physical activity, such as running, cycling, or yoga, can boost energy levels and improve overall health.

Sleep

Getting enough quality sleep is essential for feeling energised. Aiming for 7-9 hours of sleep per night helps us establish a consistent sleep schedule, giving us more energy.

Healthy diet

Eating a balanced diet that includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains provides us with sustained energy throughout the day.

Hydration

Staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water and limiting caffeine and alcohol consumption can also help increase energy levels.

Reduce stress

Chronic stress can drain energy levels, so it’s important to find ways to manage stress, such as through mindfulness practices, exercise, or talking to a therapist.

Engage in activities you enjoy

Pursuing hobbies, spending time with loved ones, or engaging in activities that bring joy can increase our energy and boost mood.

Spend time in nature

Spending time in nature and exposing ourselves to natural light can help improve our energy levels and boost mood.

Remember, everyone’s energy levels are unique and what works for one person may not work for another. Experiment with different strategies to find what works best for you to feel more energised.
