Karen’s primary goal is ensuring that the wellbeing and needs of her clients are well looked after. She is dedicated to remaining current in her psychological knowledge and keeping abreast of thinking across a wide range of areas in psychology. As a result, she is able to work with a wide range of presenting problems and is skilled at adapting therapy to meet the needs of individual clients.

After working for 15 years in private practices, Mind Matters was born of Karen’s passion to create a psychology clinic with a point of difference. Mind Matters offers a wellness experience, with each clinician specially selected to offer a broad range of specialties and services. In establishing Mind Matters, Karen’s vision was to create an optimal environment where diverse needs are met, life’s many complexities are simplified, and solutions to challenges are found. The core values that drive the ethic behind Mind Matters are professionalism, health, connection, compassion, growth, respect, open-mindedness, and happiness. It’s important to us that your experience feels far from clinical or impersonal – these values inform all decisions and practices at Mind Matters, allowing us to take a wholistic, empathetic and considered approach when it comes to your mental health needs.
