My areas of interest are:

therapies I use:

My aim in therapy is to work together with the individual to help them live balanced, happy, and healthy lives, while acknowledging that life can often be messy, complicated, and challenging. In session, I aim to create a safe and comfortable environment in which people feel respected and empowered. I aim to work collaboratively with clients, drawing on their personal strengths, values, and experiences, while offering support and expertise where it may be needed. With athletes and other high performers, my focus is to help the individual strike a balance between achieving their goals whilst also living happy, healthy and fulfilling lives. As part of this, I’ll work with the individual to build the systems, habits, and mental skills that support goal attainment and personal success.

What has working and studying in psychology taught you?

That all kinds of people from all walks of life come to therapy for a wide range of variety of concerns. Life can so often be difficult and stressful and messy, so to have struggles and seek help makes you human.

What is your self-care ritual?

When I have the energy, I try to get out in the sunshine and amongst nature to recharge. If I don’t have the energy for that, I’ll take it easy with friends and family, or have a nap.

A fun fact about me:

I’ve been bird-watching for three years and keep a list of every species I’ve seen around Australia. I’m currently at 155.
