A little about me

I am truly privileged to be trusted with the intimate and vulnerable parts of people’s lives. It’s a responsibility I hold close. As a registered Clinical Psychologist with over eight years experience, I’ve walked alongside adults and teenagers through some of life’s most challenging moments, across inpatient, community, and private practice settings.

I believe real, lasting change grows from feeling genuinely seen and understood. Building a warm, trusting one to one relationship is at the heart of everything I do. My approach is client-centred and grounded in evidence-based practice, drawing on EMDR, ACT, and CBT. I tailor this gently to who you are and what you need. Sessions are collaborative, and driven by kindness, curiosity, and warmth. You are the expert in your own life. I am here to walk beside you with care and compassion, helping you overcome your difficulties and learn skills to improve your well-being and build a life that reflects what matters most to you.

I have worked with a wide range of mental health presentations over the years, though my specialty and passion lies in trauma and anxiety. I’ve had the honour of supporting adults and teenagers from all kinds of backgrounds and life stories. Each one has left its mark on how I practise, with deep respect for what makes every individual’s experience their own.

What has working and studying in psychology taught you?

If there’s one thing this work has taught me, it’s that we are capable of getting through more than we think. Life is hard, sometimes unfairly so, and that’s okay. We’re all doing our best with what we’ve learned to cope with. I’ve also come to deeply respect how much courage it takes to reach out for help. It’s one of the bravest and most worthwhile steps a person can take.

What is your self-care ritual?

When I’m not at work, you’ll find me outdoors, hiking or at the beach, and spending time with the people I love. I’m also drawn to the arts, finding a lot of inspiration in paintings, reading fiction, and film. These are the things that help me recharge, so I can show up fully for my clients.

A fun fact about me:

I was once bitten by a monkey overseas and had to get treated at the vet, not the doctor!
