My primary aim is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their difficulties and working toward meaningful change. I take a compassionate approach and firmly believe that progress is always possible—no matter how small the steps may seem.

I have a particular interest in supporting individuals who are struggling with the lasting impact of trauma. Traumatic experiences can sometimes become ‘stuck,’ continuing to affect day-to-day life long after the event has passed.

I believe that while trauma is a part of many people’s lives, it does not have to define their present or future. My goal is to offer a safe and therapeutic environment where clients can process these experiences using evidence-based approaches.

I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Manchester, UK, and I am currently in the process of transferring my qualifications to practice in Australia. I have experience working across public, private, and charitable sectors with individuals of all ages and a wide range of presenting difficulties. Most recently, I worked in a specialist traumatic stress service supporting individuals who had experienced childhood trauma.

I have also worked with the UK charity Freedom from Torture, delivering evidence-based therapies for individuals living with PTSD. In addition to my work in trauma, I have experience supporting both adults and children in managing mood disorders, such as depression and anxiety, through tailored therapeutic interventions.

What has working and studying in psychology taught you?

Change is possible with everyone, no matter how small

What is your self-care ritual?

I love making new recipes and inviting round friends and family to try out the food and have a laugh. I love sunset walks and runs along the beach and generally just being outside helps me too.

A fun fact about me:

I accidentally got in the way of a silverback mountain gorilla in Uganda, and he pushed me out the way, I’m forever grateful that they are vegetarian.
