My primary aim is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their difficulties and working toward meaningful change. I take a compassionate approach and firmly believe that progress is always possible—no matter how small the steps may seem.
I have a particular interest in supporting individuals who are struggling with the lasting impact of trauma. Traumatic experiences can sometimes become ‘stuck,’ continuing to affect day-to-day life long after the event has passed. I believe that while trauma is a part of many people’s lives, it does not have to define their present or future. My goal is to offer a safe and therapeutic environment where clients can process these experiences using evidence-based approaches.
I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Manchester, UK, and I am currently in the process of transferring my qualifications to practice in Australia. I have experience working across public, private, and charitable sectors with individuals of all ages and a wide range of presenting difficulties. Most recently, I worked in a specialist traumatic stress service supporting individuals who had experienced childhood trauma.
I have also worked with the UK charity Freedom from Torture, delivering evidence-based therapies for individuals living with PTSD. In addition to my work in trauma, I have experience supporting both adults and children in managing mood disorders, such as depression and anxiety, through tailored therapeutic interventions.
