My 20 years of experience working in government services, not-for-profits and private practices in clinical and leadership roles has instilled in me a passion for trauma-informed care and clinical supervision. My clinical focus has been supporting people in overcoming traumatic experiences including all forms of childhood trauma and abuse, interpersonal violence, complex trauma and a range of mental health conditions.
A strong grounding in attachment science guides my practice and my focus on the therapeutic relationship, where I aim to create a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their more vulnerable aspects of self. I work at the pace of my clients, take an open and accepting therapeutic stance, and value individuals’ dignity and lived experiences.
The wide range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities I use, allow me to work collaboratively with clients in developing an approach tailored to each unique presentation. This includes working with couples as well as individuals.
