A little about me
I’m a warm, compassionate and open-minded psychologist who emphasises a collaborative and strengths-based approach with clients. Prior to being a psychologist, I had a successful career in corporate consulting.
I have published research in feasibility and pilot study of a brief self-compassion intervention addressing body image distress in breast cancer survivors. My research provides further support for the positive impact self-compassion based practices (including writing and meditation) have on improving the psychological wellbeing of cancer patients.

A bit more about me
What has working in and studying psychology taught you?
“That we can create change and do difficult things, and it takes a healthy dose of courage, vulnerability and kindness. There may be tears along the way, and also joy, laughter and connection. We can’t do this wild ride of life alone – it’s always better together.”
What is your self-care ritual?
“Honouring what I need. Time in nature, a walk or swim, connecting with family and friends, yoga & meditation, cooking, creativity, and saying no (or yes!).”
A fun fact about me is…
“I once had a green mohawk as part of a hair competition. I’m also a Yoga and Meditation teacher. I LOVE owls :)”
