Over the past ten years I have worked as a psychologist supporting children, adolescents, families and adults in various education and government settings. My experience within both government and private sectors, has allowed me to gain skills in dealing with a range of social, emotional, behavioural, and academic difficulties. I have also facilitated group programs including parenting courses with a focus on understanding trauma and attachment issues.

The basis of my approach lies within the therapeutic relationship, which allows for a non-judgmental, gentle, and compassionate experience. I help people gain insights and awareness into their past experiences, thoughts, feelings, and behaviour. I create a safe and open space for discussions and help my clients take steps to improve their lives. I treat the whole person, empowering people to process their emotions and develop healthy coping strategies.

What I find most rewarding about psychology is honouring the uniqueness of each person. It has been a privilege to witness hundreds of people improve their mental health and confidently navigate life’s rough patches.

I use an integrative approach tailored to my clients’ needs. I combine Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with elements of Mindfulness-Based Therapies and Strength-Based Therapy.

My areas of specialised expertise and interest include Depression, Anxiety, Grief and Loss, Perfectionism, Self-Esteem IssuesStressExam and HSC anxiety, Adolescent Issues, Sleep issues, Relationship Issues, Life Changes, Trauma
